In May 2023, the first Blockchain Forensics Forum was held in Belgrade. This event was the first of its kind in Southeast Europe and one of the few in Europe. It garnered global attention, attracting participation from many internationally recognized companies in the industry of combating criminal activities associated with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. The forum also saw the involvement of numerous law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, judges, and other government officials. The Blockchain Forensics Forum in May 2023 was inaugurated by the State Secretary from the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
During the Blockchain Forensics Forum, several workshops were held on darknet investigations, darknet monitoring, and mobile phone forensics.
